By purchasing a report from EAA Scanner (“the Service”, “we”, “us”), you agree to these terms. Please read them before purchasing.

1. What EAA Scanner is — and is not

EAA Scanner is an automated accessibility scanning tool. It identifies accessibility issues detectable by programmatic means against the WCAG 2.1 AA standard. Reports are informational only and do not constitute legal advice, a legal compliance assessment, or a guarantee that your website meets any legal requirement.

Automated scanning detects approximately 30–40% of WCAG 2.1 issues— those with objective pass/fail rules. Full compliance also requires manual testing by a qualified accessibility expert. Every report includes a clear scope disclosure.

2. Accessibility statement

The accessibility statement we generate uses the W3C model statement format and is labelled “partially conformant” based on actual scan findings. We will never automatically generate a statement claiming full conformity. You remain responsible for reviewing the statement before publishing it.

3. No legal advice

Nothing in our reports, emails, or on this website constitutes legal advice. For legal advice regarding EAA obligations, consult a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction.

4. Liability limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the fees you paid for the specific ordergiving rise to the claim (maximum €149). We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including fines, penalties, or regulatory actions related to your website's accessibility.

5. Warranty disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that scans will be error-free, that all accessibility issues will be detected, or that following our recommendations will result in legal compliance.

6. Acceptable use

You may only scan websites you own or have explicit permission to scan. You may not use the Service to abuse, overload, or probe third-party systems.

7. Payments & refunds

All payments are processed by Dodo Payments (merchant of record). See our Refund Policy for withdrawal and refund terms.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified via the email address associated with your order. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
